Angelica Jimenez

Angelica Jimenez graduated from Syracuse University, double majoring in Political Science and American History. She then attended the University of La Verne, College of Law, where she received her juris doctorate. 

Ms. Jimenez grew up in a criminal law enforcement family, and always knew she had a deep passion for criminal law. Ms. Jimenez’ criminal experience stems back to 2015, while still in college. She worked as a criminal clerk in the Syracuse Criminal Courthouse, 5th District. In 2018, as a 2L in law school, Ms. Jimenez volunteered as a certified law clerk for the San Bernardino District Attorney Office. She was assigned to the Hard Core Gang Unit and the Family Violence Unit. There, she appeared on the record conducting preliminary hearings and drafting trial motions for several trials.

In 2019, Ms. Jimenez worked as a post-bar supervising paralegal at a criminal defense firm. It was through her several experiences that she learned the importance of a client-centered approach to legal representation and that her true passion lies in advocating for clients.

 She is excited to be a part of the La Firma Ruiz  team that provides customized legal advice, personal service, and trusted representation to clients who fully deserve it.
